The DURTAC model provides top class protection against impact and tearing due to the utilization of solid protectors made of injected thermoplastic on the outer side of the hand (knuckles) as well as individual fingers.
The inner side of the gloves was made from synthetic leather in order to increase durability and breathability. Vulnerable points feature additional reinforcements. Inserts from Lycra, mesh and ventilation holes have been used to improve breathability.
A better fit to the wrist is provided by a neoprene cuff. On the other hand, the thumb was sewn from microfiber, which makes it a useful element, for instance, for rubbing off sweat. For a more firm grip the thumb and index finger have a printed silicon inserts.
