Shield Mini Sight Reflex Sight
Shield is a British company with over 30 years
of tradition in designing and manufacturing high quality reflex sights with
military specification. Its products were recognized by, among others,
American, British and Polish (2014 bid for JWK) special
forces. This company also makes products for JP Rifles (JPoint) and Trijicon’s REDDOT.
Shield products are characteristic for their innovativeness, lightweight and durability
to withstand even the harshest of conditions (guaranteed durability to
temporary stress up to 5000G and temperatures ranging from -20° to 40°C).
Shield Mini Sight reflex sight is the most
popular compact reflex sight for operating in dynamically changing lighting
conditions in Shield’s offer - it features a sensor that actively adjusts the
brightness of 4 MOA reticle.
The
receiver was made from durable polymer that provides high durability as well as
low weight, while lenses made from polymer are 10 times more durable than
classic glass lenses.
High
quality electronics were tightly secured from water. Powered by a CR2032
3V battery that can be replaced without removal of the sight. An active
sensor system makes these optics always ready for use whilst maintaining long
battery lifetime. The reticle features smooth adjustment both vertically
and horizontally.
The
sight has mount openings compatible with the most popular standard in sidearms or scopes with fixed zoom. The manufacturer has in
his offer also a wide array of accessories (not included in the set) which
allow the User to install optics on shotgun accessory rails, scopes without a
dedicated mount or a RIS 22 mm rail.
