Reinforced Gearbox V3 QD Shell with Micro-Contact

A reinforced gearbox V3 by Specna Arms. The product is intended for the installation in AK replicas. The shell was adapted for use with 8 mm slide and ball bearings. The manufacturer has taken care to reinforce the most vulnerable spots of the construction, which enables its use with more powerful springs. Gearbox V3 QD is an excellent solution for people seeking a good-quality shell at a reasonable price. 

The quick spring change system enables a rapid and simple adaptation of replica’s power to the conditions that can be encountered on the airsoft battlefield. The adaptation does not require the disassembly of the entire gearbox. The user does not even have to have specialist tools on hand or spend time in a workshop. The first step is to take out the gearbox from the replica’s body. Afterwards, the user needs to pull out the spring along with the guide through the opening in the rear wall of the frame. The process itself lasts only mere seconds.

In order to improve the trigger reaction time and the lifetime of LiPo batteries, the frame was modified for use with the included micro-contact instead of standard contact plates.
