SWU Sniper
Rifle Replica
Bear Paw Production
presents a unique SVU GBB replica. SVU is an airsoft version of a sniper rifle
developed at the turn of 80s/90s, which was afterward used, e.g. during the conflict
in Chechnya, remaining to this day a standard issue sniper rifle used by FSB
and MVD.
In short, SWU can be
described as a well-known Soviet sniper rifle redesigned into a bull-pup /
stockless version. Therefore, the replica receives an enormous advantage
of many bull-pup constructions - it allows to retain the long barrel
with the overall length of the rifle comparable to that of an assault rifle. A
sharpshooter wielding an SVU thus has a much better mobility and
maneuverability - also in vehicles, indoors or in difficult urban
conditions.
The replica was made
entirely of metal, steel elements include:
- dust cover and the
lock latch
- magazine
- barrel element
- fire mode selector plate
- receiver elements
The remainder of
elements was made of high-quality aluminum and polymer - elements such as
panels and the pistol grip
Similarly to the original live firearm, polymer parts
include the cradle / grip panels, stock pad, cheek pad and the pistol grip. The
replica features a silencer (with dampening filling) mounted on a 14 mm
left-handed thread.
The replica is powered
by Green Gas fed from a steel magazine with a capacity of 21 BBs. The recoil
and sound of a shot is unique in this replica - just in case, the manufacturer
has included earplugs in the set. It is worth noting that SVU BPP is compatible
with SVD magazines by WE.
The replica has a side
mounting rail that allows to attach optics / SVD rails.
The set
includes:
- replica
- magazine

Hop-Up Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy). | Yes |
Blow Back Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting. | Yes |
