CAM870M shotgun replica
APS's CAM870M shotgun replica is without doubt the most realistic in operation and handling rifle available on the airsoft market. Already at First Night it became desirable of a great number of collectioners, however, apartt from being a decorative element, it is also an efficient weapon during airsoft games in CQB.
The shotgun was produced with great attention to details, the model is 100% metal, apart from the stock and the handguard - these were made of real, lacquered plywood. Perfect materials and matching resulted in the fact that CAM870M makes an unusually trustworthy impression when holding it. This is an impression of real steel, not an airsoft shotgun. A comfortable padding of the stock was made of hard rubber and ensures a stable hold while shooting. The shotgun is equipped with both a set of iron sights and carrying strap suspension sockets.
This is a CO2 fed shotgun, after each shot and reloading it throws out an empty shell. The process of reloading itself is very efficient - the hanguard together with the mechanism moves very smoothly and the sound is music to an ear. In order to avoid accidental losing the used shells during the game, the replica was additionaly equipped with a net bag fastened on the receiver.
APS applied here power system different from the one we know in APM50 sniper rifle replica. CO2 is in this case laoded directly to every shell with the help of a special adapter added to the set. When loaded with gas, the shell is filled with BBs - its capacity is 12 BBs max. One has also to mantle a plastic shim and a paper seal. Every time the trigger is pulled and the weapon is reloaded, the shell is emptied and thrown out through the shell ejector. The initial muzzle velocity constitutes ~ 200 FPS.
APS's CAM870M is, without any doubt, a remarkable airsoft replica. This is the most advanced imitation of real steel among shotguns - as concerns both operational mechanism and an outer performance.

| Hop-Up Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down.
